Welcome to the HLC Semifinals halftime report.

On the top side of the bracket, the New Mexico Lobos have opened up a sizable lead over the Rockport Leatherheads. After the first week of scoring, New Mexico sits ahead by more than 40 points, putting themselves in a strong position heading into Week 16. Rockport isn’t finished yet. Two-week matchups can swing quickly, but they’ll need a big second week to flip the script.

The other semifinal couldn’t be tighter. The Robots hold a lead of less than one point over Austin at the halfway mark, with both teams posting strong totals in the first half. This one could go either way depending on a handful of players.

In the consolation ladder, Michiana came out strong, posting one of the better scores of the season (173) and leading the Jaybirds by 31 points at the half. The Troubadours are in front of the Tacos, 137–118, with plenty still to be decided in the second week.

With the semifinals only halfway done, nothing is settled yet. The Lobos have put themselves in control, the Austin–Robots matchup remains wide open, and Week 16 will decide who moves on to the championship round.
