The Tourists kept it close thanks to Malik Nabers’ monster 37.7 points and James Cook (26.5), but fell just short.

Jaybirds Stay Perfect Behind St. Brown
The Jaybirds rolled to 161–105 over Michiana, improving to 2–0 and staying atop the East. Amon-Ra St. Brown erupted for 39.2 points, with Jamaal Williams (25.0) and Jayden Daniels (19.7) adding plenty of support. Christian McCaffrey (22.7) and Jahmyr Gibbs (19.4) did their part for the Muskellunge, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace.

Leatherheads Land First Win
Rockport secured their first victory of 2025, knocking off i2^3∑π by a 130–81 margin. Ja’Marr Chase (36.5) and Patrick Mahomes (22.1) powered the way, while Bucky Irving (18.1) rounded out the scoring punch. The Robots got 19.9 from Baker Mayfield and 18.7 from Chuba Hubbard, but they slid to 0–2.

Lobos Outlast Troubadours in West Showdown
The preseason favorites stayed unbeaten as New Mexico moved to 2–0 with a 146–119 win over Tortilla Flats. Puka Nacua (27.6), De’Von Achane (26.2), and kicker Brandon Aubrey (23.0) headlined a deep lineup. Lamar Jackson (26.3) and CeeDee Lamb (20.2) kept the Troubs close, but the Lobos pulled away.

HLC Player of the Week: Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Jaybirds
St. Brown was unstoppable, hauling in nine of 11 targets for 115 yards and three touchdowns while adding two carries for seven yards. The all-around effort translated into 39.2 fantasy points, powering the Jaybirds to the league’s top score of Week 2 and a 2–0 start.
