The New Mexico Roadrunners stayed in control of the West with a hard-fought 6–4 win over the Boerne Mutts. The Roadrunners leaned on 70 innings of pitching and just enough offense to outlast the Mutts, who still clinched their playoff spot despite the loss.

Despite losing multiple key players to injury, Doña Ana delivered one of the week’s stronger showings, taking down Gallagher Gulch 6–4 behind a .291 team batting average and a crisp 2.75 ERA. The Chihuahuas now sit at 113–97–21, tied in overall record with the East-leading Austin Armadillos.

Speaking of Austin, the Armadillos slugged 16 homers and piled up 51 RBIs in a 7–3 win over the Indy Integrals. That victory keeps them atop the East, but the division isn’t locked just yet.

The Michiana Cavemen kept their season alive with a dominant 9–2 win over Coastal Bend. The Cavemen mashed 10 homers and 42 RBIs, and now sit just inside the playoff picture.

The Rockport RedFish turned in the biggest blowout of the week, crushing Sinton 10–1 behind 14 home runs, six stolen bases, and a microscopic 0.95 WHIP. Rockport is still clinging to hope, but will need one more big performance in the finale.

The Denver Donuts turned in one of their better efforts of the season, rolling past Oahu 9–2. A balanced attack of seven home runs and a 3.73 ERA did the job, while the Rocketeers never quite managed to get airborne.

That sets the stage for Week 22, the regular season finale. Only two teams (New Mexico and Boerne) have officially clinched playoff spots, leaving four places still up for grabs.

The Playoff Picture: Four Spots, One Week

Format reminder: division winners are in, and the remaining four playoff spots go to the best overall records, regardless of division. With that in mind, almost everyone in the top eight still has leverage.

Austin leads the East at 113–97–21 and can claim the division—and the bye that comes with it—by handling Rockport. It isn’t a formality, though: drop categories to the RedFish and the door opens for a slide while others climb.

In the West’s wild-card scrum, Doña Ana (113–97–21) is in a strong spot but not untouchable. Gallagher Gulch (111–100–20) sits just 2.5 back with a winnable matchup; a swing of a few categories can flip that order. Doña Ana draws the toughest opponent in New Mexico, so their cushion is real but not comfortable.

The East’s middle is the week’s knife fight. Michiana (106–104–21) faces Sinton and needs a solid win to remain in the top 6. Indy (104–106–21) gets Coastal Bend and needs the same. If both post wins, margin matters—how many categories they bank—because Rockport (101–105–25) is staring down Austin and only needs one of those rivals to blink to sneak through. Coastal Bend (99–121–11) remains alive on paper and can muddy the water with an upset, but they also need help elsewhere.

In short, beyond New Mexico’s dominance and Boerne’s security, nothing is settled. Austin can nail down the East or tumble into the wild-card shuffle. Doña Ana can firm up a top-four seed or get reeled in by Gallagher Gulch. And the last seat (maybe two) will go to whichever of Michiana, Indy, and Rockport turns Week 22 into a statement.
