With the playoff race heating up, some teams are solidifying their positions, while others continue to fight for momentum. Let’s dive into this week’s action and see how things are shaping up as we head into the second half of the season.

Rockport Edges Austin in Key Matchup

The Rockport Leatherheads kept their winning streak alive, defeating the Austin Tourists 126-114. The Leatherheads’ consistency continues to pay off as they now sit atop the West. Next up in Week 8, Rockport will host the Tortilla Flats Troubadours, while Austin heads to Michiana.

Tacos Sizzle Against Robots

The San Antonio Tacos came out strong, cruising to a 115-84 victory over the i2^3∑π. The win moves the Tacos up in the standings as they look to carry that momentum into Week 8, where they will face the Jaybirds. The Robots will try to bounce back as they host the New Mexico Lobos.

Lobos Outlast Muskellunge

The New Mexico Lobos secured a 138-119 win over the Michiana Muskellunge, pushing their record to 4-3 at the halfway mark. Michiana’s winless streak continues, but they’ll have another shot at redemption when they host Austin in Week 8. Meanwhile, the Lobos head to the Robots’ turf for what should be an exciting matchup.

Jaybirds Stay Hot, Troubadours Fall Short

The Jaybirds extended their reign with a 133-112 victory over the Tortilla Flats Troubadours. With a 6-1 record, the Jaybirds remain the team to beat. Next week, the Jaybirds will host the Tacos, while the Troubadours make the short trip to Rockport to face the Leatherheads.

Player of the Week: Lamar Jackson, Tortilla Flats Troubadours

Lamar Jackson was unstoppable in Week 7, earning Player of the Week honors with 34.4 fantasy points. Jackson went 17 for 22, throwing for 281 yards and 5 touchdowns, while adding 52 rushing yards on 9 carries.
