As we approach the final two weeks of the regular season, the playoff picture in the Hoosier Longhorn Confederacy is becoming clearer. Three teams, the Tacos, Tourists, and Muskellunge, have secured their spots in the Winner’s Bracket. The New Mexico Lobos are next in line with a 97% chance of making it, while the i2^3∑π (3%) and Troubadours (1%) still have slim hopes but need to win out and rely on some help. On the other hand, the Jaybirds and Leatherheads have been mathematically eliminated and will play in the Consolation Bracket.

Lobos Eliminate Jaybirds

The New Mexico Lobos continued their quest for a second championship by extinguishing the Jaybirds’ playoff dreams. Led by QB Jalen Hurts, who scored an impressive 34 fantasy points, and newcomer Bijan Robinson (27 points), the Lobos secured a convincing 154-86 victory. The Jaybirds fought back with a strong performance from RB Josh Jacobs, who contributed 22 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Lobos.

In Week 13, the Lobos will face the Tacos in New Mexico, while the Jaybirds hit the road to take on the Robots.

Tacos Dash Leatherheads’ Championship Hopes

The San Antonio Tacos turned up the heat once again, defeating the Rockport Leatherheads 137-116, effectively ending Rockport’s playoff hopes. Devonta Smith (23 points) put up a fight for the Leatherheads, but the Tacos’ QB Patrick Mahomes (20 points) and receivers Keenan Allen and Michael Pittman Jr. (both with 20 points) proved to be too much to handle.

The Tacos will aim to maintain their top spot as they travel to New Mexico to face the defending champions, while the Leatherheads host the red-hot Muskellunge in Rockport.

Muskellunge Trample Troubadours

The Michiana Muskellunge continued their offensive onslaught, scoring over 140 points for the ninth time this season. QB Dak Prescott was the star with 32 fantasy points, while RB Isiah Pacheco added 25 of his own. Despite a stellar performance from Christian McCaffrey (30 points) and QB Trevor Lawrence (24 points), the Troubadours fell short as the Fish posted a total of 160 points.

Next up for the Muskellunge is a road game against the Leatherheads, while the Troubadours seek to salvage their season against the Tourists in Tortilla Flats.

Tourists Sneak Past Robots

In the week’s closest matchup, the Austin Tourists narrowly defeated the i2^3∑π. The Robots appeared on the verge of victory thanks to strong performances from wide receivers Mike Evans (25 points) and Deebo Samuel (22 points). However, Tourists QB Josh Allen came to life, scoring 39 points, securing a late 126-124 win for Austin.

In Week 13, the i2^3∑π face the Jaybirds in a must-win game, while the Tourists look to gain ground on San Antonio as they take on the Troubadours in The Flats.

Player of the Week Honors

For Week 12, Player of the Week honors go to Austin Tourists QB Josh Allen. He completed 29 of 51 passes for 339 yards and two touchdowns with one interception, adding 81 rushing yards and two TDs on nine carries, totaling an impressive 39 fantasy points.
